Ken’s Plumbing and Pfeiffer Gleaton Wyatt Hewitt, P.A. are sponsoring in conjunction with the Greenville Area Office of the Clemson University SBDC (Small Business Development Center) a workshop designed to help businesses capitalize on being woman or minority owned.
The workshop will be held on April 29 from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm at Clemson at the Falls, 55 East Camperdown Way in Greenville. Seating is limited and pre-registration is required. Janet W. Christy, author of “Capitalizing On Being Woman Owned” and “101 Winning Marketing Actions for Small Businesses”, will conduct the workshop. Christy is also President of Leverage & Development, LLC a local consulting firm that specializes in the development of marketing plans for woman and minority owned businesses.
Included in the workshop are: how to identify and qualify prospects that benefit from using woman/minority owned businesses, marketing and sales strategies that leverage the ownership status, which certifications and registrations are necessary or helpful, and other critical “How To” information. All attendees will receive a copy of “Capitalizing On Being Woman Owned” and a Tool Kit including important websites and guidelines.
